Strategy to complete The Krypt mode in Mortal Kombat 11

The Krypt is one of the game modes found in Mortal Kombat 11. That's where gamers can find chests containing various unlockables in the game.

But to explore it, besides completing several puzzles, you must find a certain key item to continue the journey.

The following are the locations of all key items needed to complete The Krypt.

SHAO KAHN'S HAMMER

These items can be found at the end of the Palace Entrance area, on a platform. With Shao Kahn’s Hammer, gamers can destroy various objects and fragile walls.

GEM OF THE LIVING

Go to the Warrior Shrine on the west side of the Courtyard, then you will see a falling meteor. Destroy the meteor with Shao Kahn’s Hammer to get Gem of the Living. This item is used to open the door on the east side of the Courtyard, which leads to Gardens and Vault.

CRACKED HORN OF MONARO

Enter the Garden area, follow the left wall and destroy the fragile wall you see to enter the Vault. There, pull the lever that gamers see to get the Cracked Horn of Motaro. Use this item to open the Goro’s Lair Door, which is at the east end of the Warrior Shrine.

AMULET OF EARTHREALM’S PROTECTOR

This key item can only be obtained in the Tower of Time mode. Complete all Tower Tutorials to get the Amulet of Earthrealm's Protector as a reward. Use this item on the ruined statue of Raiden hit by a meteor, to get the Thunder God’s Shattered Staff.

FRAGMENTS OF THE ONE BEING

This key item consists of three parts namely Heart, Mind, and Soul of the One Being. To get it, you must complete the Finisher Challenges (do 10 Fatalities, Brutality, and Mercy) in Towers of Time or Klassic Towers.

Use the three fragments to open the Door of the One Being, which is at the entrance to Goro’s Lair. This will give you access to a room filled with fire traps, and a chest containing a Heart of Blaze.

SCORPION’S SPEAR

Upon arrival at Goro’s Lair, go to Goro’s Throne Room and find a path beside it to reach Armory. Head to the back of the room to find the fiery chain, which is the Scorpion’s Spear.

With this item, gamers can destroy or pull objects from a distance, to burn Flaming Chests to open them.

KENSHI TAKAHASHI'S BLINDFOLD

From Goro’s Throne Room, go to Goro’s Treasure Room by following the road to the west, and find Jails. Go across the pool of blood to find Kenshi's corpse, and get Kenshi Takahashi’s Blindfold. With this item, gamers can find fragile walls and hidden chests in several locations.

ERMAC'S AMULET

From Goro’s Throne Room, follow the path east to the Dining Hall then up the stairs. Check the area in the southwest to find a chain, and pull to activate the elevator that takes you to the Lower Pit.

Upon arrival, take Ermac’s Amulet from the corpse of the ninja. Through this item, you can open Soul Vault, lift rocks or repair bridges.

HEART OF BLAZE

Obtained by restoring the statue of Raiden using the Amulet of Earthrealm's Protector. Use this item to open Thunder God’s Door (after going through Torture Halls), to the room where the chest containing the Dragon Amulet is.

DRAGON AMULET

After opening the Thunder God’s Door, take the first left turn while avoiding traps. Browse the area to find a chest that can be opened by paying 20,000 Coins, to get the Dragon Amulet.

Use this item to open the Dragon’s Door on the wall of Mountain Pass, to reach Kytinn Hive.

ELDER GOD PUZZLE

After reaching Kytinn Hive, you will meet the Elder God Puzzle, which can only be completed using three types of an amulet. This is the final challenge that you must complete in The Krypt mode in Mortal Kombat 11.

Amulet Chronicles
Go to the Shrine opposite the Mountain Pass (after passing the Forge), and pay some money. The first item you will get is the Chronicle's Amulet.

Shinnok’s Amulet
Shinnok’s Amulet can only be created using three specific ingredients in Mortal Kombat 11.
First is Ensorcelled Demon’s Heart.
Second is Ensorcelled Gem of Trapped Souls, obtained from Soul Vault in Dead Woods.
Finally, Ensorcelled Eye of a Dragon, which is obtained by defeating several spiders in Kytinn Hive.

Celltrion's Amulet
To get Cetrion’s Amulet, gamers must do 50 fatalities for Cetrion in Towers of Time or Klassic Tower. Play Survivor tower, then enters and exit from there until Cetrion appears.

Do fatalities on it, select "Quit" when the next opponent appears, then you will fight again.
